Reference note. Scale: 1 inch to 41.66 feet. Compass indicator. Stamped 'Superintendents Office, M[idland] R[ailway], 29 Aug. [19]01. Originally enclosed with a report of 30 August 1901 from W L Mugliston, Superintendent, to J Mathieson, General Manager, Midland Railway Company.
