Engraved by William Faden, Charing Cross, London. Originally enclosed with accounts dated June 1787 relating to the Basingstoke Canal; a list of landowners through whose grounds the canal was intended to pass, with a key to the numbers on the plan to which they refer, remains with the accounts in RAIL 1019/6
