'Die Festung Willmanstrand wo die Russ. Kays. Truppen unter Anfuhrung der General Feld-Marechal Gr. von Laeg uber ein Swedischer corps den 23. Aug. 1741 einen vollkommen Sieg erhalten und hernach die Festung mit sturm errobert'. Ground plan of the fortress of Villmanstrand and of the order of battle between Russian and Swedish forces on 23 August 1741. Also shows hills, wooded areas, buildings, roads. Title within scroll cartouche. Reference table. Scale: 3.5 cm to 150 Faden [1:8905, calculated by comparison with MFC 1/129/1]. Originally enclosed in letter from E Finch to Lord Harrington, St Petersburg, 19/30 September 1741, informing Harrington that the plan "have been published since my last" (ie since his letter of 15/26 September 1741).
