Description

'Map to illustrate notes on Races and Religions in Turkey-in-Asia by Capt. Fairholme D.A.A.G., 9 th March 1897. The States and Provinces of the Balkan Peninsula'. This is 'The States and Provinces of the Balkan Peninsula', originally part of the London Atlas Series printed and published by Stanford's Geographical Establishment, and subsequently overprinted in colour to show ethnic distribution; title duly extended; reference table to ethnic groups is affixed to the map.
