'Map of Uganda Protectorate'. Published by the Royal Geographical Society, [1899]. Title extended in MS to read: 'Map of Uganda Protectorate Showing Approximate Rainfall and Degree of Navigability of Lakes and Rivers'. Coloured MS additions by H H Johnston show waterways navigable or unnavigable by small steamers. MS reference table. Signed by Johnston to illustrate his preliminary report on the Protectorate of Uganda, April 1900. Endorsed: 'In Sir H. Johnston's No 101 May 25, 1900'.
