'Plan of the Entrance of the Columbia River' (now in Washington state): chart showing recent changes in the formation of the sands (in red); position of the schooner Cadboro on 30 October 1843; tidal flow at quarter-ebb and half-ebb. Old and new sailing directions for entering the river. Scale: 1 inch to about 1,250 yards. Compass indicator. Drawn by M Vavasour, Lt RE, from a sketch belonging to the Hudson Bay Company.
