Description

'Further correspondence respecting British New Guinea.' Correspondence principally between Sir Henry Wylie Norman, Governor of Queensland and Sir William MacGregor, Administrator of British New Guinea. A variety of subjects is covered including the purchase and maintenance of a steam launch, the murder of Europeans, the criminal law procedure, land grants, the establishment of a constabulary, missionaries and inspections of the Aroma district and the gold fields of the islands of St Aignan and Sudest.
