Four plans showing surveys of unidentified land grants and leases in the Straits Settlements, possibly in Singapore. (4) Shows 'Changie Road' [?Singapore]. (5) Entitled 'New Survey' but bears no place or road names. (6) Covers the same area as (5) and is headed 'Reduction from Mr Quinton's survey'. (7) Appears to overlap and extend westward from (4). Plot numbers 14, 17, 25, 26, and 27 appear on both, as does 'Changie Road'. Scale (all): 1 inch to 4 chains. All with compass indicators. All signed by H E McCallum, Major RE and William Barron, Lieutenant Colonel, July-August 1887. Originally enclosed with report and correspondence of the Land and Survey Departments, number 24327 Straits Settlements, November 1887
