(10) A general map of the lands between the St. Francis River and Grand Falls; (11) Plan 1. 5 plans on one sheet of islands numbers 1-9 in the River St. John; (12) Plan 2. 5 plans on one sheet of islands numbers 10-13 in the River St John and numbers 1-3 in the Little Madawaska River; (17) Plan 7. 5 plans on one sheet of islands numbers 1 in the River St John and 1-6 in the Green River; (13) Plan 3. (12)-(21) all dated at Fredericton 31 March 1848 and signed by the Commissioners, J A Maclaughlan and John C Allen, and related to the Commissioners' Report of 31 May 1845, a copy of which was enclosed in Sir William Colebrooke's despatch number 90 of 14 October 1845. Scales: (10) 1 inch to 100 chains; (11), (12) and (17) 1 inch to 5 chains; (13)-(16) and (18)-(21) 1 inch to 25 chains. Compass indicators. (10) 76 cm x 142 cm; (11) and (13) each about 96.5 cm x 63.5 cm; the remainder each about 63.5 cm x 96.5 cm. From the Report it appears that the surveyors were H.M.G. Garden, James Nelson, Michael Harley and John Davidson. The maps dated 31 March 1848 were presumably found with the despatch and the report at a later date. (CO 188/98, ff 329-340
