'Imperial Institute. Report of the proceedings of the Executive Council of the Imperial Institute at a meeting at the Colonial Office on Tuesday, 9th January, 1923.' The meeting, which was chaired by the Secretary of State for the Colonies, Victor Cavendish, the Duke of Devonshire, was held to attempt to resolve a financial crisis affecting the future of the institute.
