'Transportation and emigration.' Memoranda on transportation, by T Frederick Elliot, and on emigration, by Thomas William Clinton Murdoch, both with appendices, with a covering minute by Earl Grey. Appendix no.2 to the transportation memorandum gives details of the number of male and female convicts shipped to Van Diemen's Land between 1829 and 1848.
