Two plans of the entry to the channel at Dunkirk, showing banks, cuts, moles. Scale: 10.3 cm to 110 toises. Compass indicators. Each plan 19.5 cm x 12.5 cm, on one sheet 39 cm x 12.5cm (itself cut from a larger sheet). (1) Illustrates procès verbal signed by J.P. Desmaretz and A. Frazer, British Commissioners, and de Ramsault et Poisson des Londes, French Commissioners, 10 April 1766 (see WO 124/13), and letter to Mr Conway, 11 April 1766 (see SP 78/269). (2) Illustrates procès verbal concerning the '3 e coupure', sent by the same commissioners to Lt Col Roy, 30 May 1766 (not found).
