Description

Enclosure map of Marden [Marden, Sutton St Nicholas, Sutton St Michael, Withington] (parish), Herefordshire. 10 maps to accompany enclosure award of 21 July 1819 pursuant to Act 48 Geo III, c xcv. Maps cover the whole parish / township (7700.09 acres) and show the land after enclosure. Also shows lakes or ponds, river Lugg (with direction of flow), named commons, open fields names, footpaths or bridleways. With border and compass indicators. Scale: 1 inch to 5 chains. Dimensions of maps: (1) Plan A, 87 cm x 63 cm; (2) Plan B, 63 cm x 93 cm; (3) Plan C, 86.5 cm x 96 cm; (4) Plan D 62.5 cm x 82 cm; (5) Plan E, 62 cm x 84 cm; (6) Plan F, 62.5 cm x 82 cm; (7) The Fern, the Vauld and Keeperknoll, 86 cm x 126.5 cm; (8) Sutton, 86.5 cm x 91.5 cm; (9) Amberley Frominton and Paradise, 74.5 cm x 91.5 cm; (10) Part of Lugg Meadow 74 cm x 70 cm
