The Statistics Branch of the Establishment and Organisation Division of the Ministry of Housing and Local Government was established in 1964. The Statistics Branch existed until 1969, when the Economics and Statistics Division was established. Statistics Branch was responsible for the compilation of statistics relevant to the work of the Ministry.
