The Burial Act, 1855 made the fees payable to a burial authority (under the 1852 Act) in respect of interments, the right of erecting monuments and other matters, the subject of approval by the Secretary of State for Home Affairs; this function was transferred to the Local Government Board under the Burial Act, 1900. Series comprises a few selected sample volumes for the period 1901 to 1906.
