Description

The files belong to the CM prefix, which was used by the Office of the Minister for Science (otherwise in CAB 124) and by the Ministry of Technology (Mintech). They deal with a variety of materials and their properties, including conductivity (ie superconductivity project) and lubrication (tribology). Other topics include European Atomic Energy Commission (EURATOM) negotiations, and negotiations with France regarding the supply of rare engineering materials.

Some papers have been re-registered from the EM file series.
