This series comprises letter books which contain out-letters of the Admiralty Registrar, 1795 to 1810 and 1853 to 1856, and some notes concerning them, in a booklet printed and published privately in 1964 by a later registrar (K C McGuffie). There are also some letter books of the Admiralty Registrar for 1853 to 1904 in his capacity as Registrar of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in ecclesiastical and maritime appeals. The series also includes letter books containing out-letters of the Admiralty Marshal, 1842 to 1858.
