Description

These files contain warrants (usually for the arrest of ships or their cargoes), monitions (summonses), decrees, compulsories (legal mandates enforcing summonses), and other documents. The documents are the original ones which were issued by the court and returned bearing endorsements of due execution, sometimes accompanied by supporting affidavits.
