Description

This series consists of interlocutory decree books of the Prize Court of the High Court of Admiralty.

The documents comprise decrees of the court drawn up by the deputy registrars during the course of an action, and before its final determination. They relate to cases arising out of prizes taken during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. The volumes have integral indexes of ships' names down to May 1809, with one of the later volumes also indexed.
