These papers comprise the last of the six series of instance papers, and continue those earlier papers.
The papers include a wide variety of documents, such as affidavits, accounts, bills of costs, examinations of witnesses, statements, summons, etc. The proceedings to which they relate concern such matters as collision, damages, salvage, etc.
Until the Administration of Justice Act 1970, the papers are those of the Probate, Divorce and Admiralty Division of the High Court of Justice. Thereafter, they are papers of the Admiralty Court of the Queen's Bench Division.
