Copies of files from the captured German Foreign Ministry Archives, filmed for the German War Documents Project, concerning German relations with the United Kingdom and the USA during the latter part of the nineteenth century.
The series also includes files relating to German internal relations, and relations with other countries especially Austria, Russia and Turkey, 1867 to 1914 (in some cases to 1919). These files were selected for filming by the University of California.
