This series contains intermediate files containing correspondence between the Registry of Friendly Societies and trade unions arising from the Registry's responsibilities under the Trade Union Acts. They include papers relating to proposals to revise union rules and complaints from union members and others alleging breaches of rules or procedure. Matters covered include misuse of union funds and grievances concerning payment of political levy.
