This series consists of rules, amendments to rules, annual returns, and various statutory documents of: (a) Trade Unions registered under the Trade Unions Acts and removed from the Register after 1912; (b) of unregistered Trade Unions which had political objects as defined in S 3(3) of the Trade Union Act 1913, and which subsequently ceased to have political objects; and (c) of unregistered Trade Unions certified as Trade Unions within the meaning of S 2(3) of the 1913 Act, whose certificates were subsequently withdrawn. The files of unregistered Trade Unions in categories (b) and (c) above are indicated by an asterisk in the list.
The list is arranged alphabetically in three chronological series as indicated below: Dates between which Unions were removed from the register: 1913 Jan.1-1929 Dec.3: piece nos. 1-316 Dates between which Unions were removed from the register: 1930 Jan.1-1939 Dec.31: piece nos. 317-440 Dates between which Unions were removed from the register: Various: piece nos. 441-490
