Description

This series consists of correspondence and papers created from 1951 by delegates and/or staff of United Kingdom missions and delegations to certain specialised international organisations or for particular occasions. Includes a few papers of the UK Delegation to the United Nations arising from the consideration of tactics in relation to the Korean War armistice negotiations, 1952. There are also some files of the United Kingdom Permanent Delegation Office to the United Nations, Geneva, arising from the liquidation of the International Refugee Organization and the disposal of its archives.
