From Thomas Tucker in Workington, Cumb, to John Parr: detailed description of his journey and a meeting with the bishop of Carlisle... on arrival discovered that Sir Patrick Curnen had departed that morning for Newcastle... Sir Patrick wishes to recover his expenses and will not release the goods... ruination of the ship... Cornelius and the rest of the pirates are in prison... disposal of the cargo... asks for instructions... (ff. 157-159)
