Indictment of Samuel Bennett, who sailed on a voyage to the coast of America and the islands of Providence, Henrietta, etc. in the ship The Happy Return of the Honourable Company of Adventurers, commanded by Captain Newman. Fourteen counts, including describing the voyage as little better than piracy, mutinous behaviour towards and assault upon the captain, freeing himself from leg-irons, abuse of the lieutenant, Powell, etc. (ff. 102-106)
