Declaration by the sheriff, burgermasters, aldermen and council of Delft that Hendrik Groenewegen, at the request of Juffrouw Maria Musch of Rotterdam has affirmed the interrogatories [listed] stating that Jan Cornelison Crayfert obtained a letter of favour from the states general and the same from the admiralty of Zealand, so that they and their partners might redeem at a fair price a ship captured from the Portuguese or Spanish, captained by Gerrit Senten of Schiedam; significance of a bond of bottomry [there is a full translation into English of this document in HCA 30/840/13]
