Folios 114-117. Delafaye to Tilson. Encloses a letter from Hugh Monro, stating he was bred at the university of Glasgow and practiced law in Dublin till upon his father's death and an account of above £20,000 due to him from the Crown he was unfortunately buoyed up to turn "Crown Sollicitor" He desires to be recommended to Tilson for a clerkship.
