Learns that his Grace has made a scruple of recommending his petition to the King for a licence to print his work for fear that there might be somewhat in it that might tend to the disservice of the government. Represents that the specimen he has already set forth shows his affection to his Majesty and the ministry. The Duke of Montagu, who is well versed in history and records, will give him a character.
