Folio 89. C. Lovell to W. Rouse. Mr. Davis, one of his Majesty's messengers came hither last night with despatches for Paris, but, owing to illness, was unable to proceed upon his journey. The despatches have been forwarded to Paris under the care of Richard Smithet, mate of the Dover despatch boat.
