Folios 123-124. [Lord Inverness] from Pisa to Allan Cameron. I return you many thanks for the account you give me of the Royal Family and beg you'll continue to do me that pleasure once a week. I think Mr. Albergati might have chosen another occasion to show his zeal for the support of the privileges of the Bologna nobility which can never be encroached upon by their receiving the daughter of anyone who is acknowledged as knight baronet by the King. Sir David or his daughters not eating or going abroad with the King or Queen is no rule for them to walk by, none of us have any right to it and I think Marquis Albergati understands very little what he pretends to decide in. I am of your opinion that Mr. MacMahon will not get so easily rid of his aile as he at first imagines... I hear D. Mar is going down to live at Bologne sur mer to be nearer to solicit his going over which meets with some difficulties.
