Description

Folios 113-114. [Lord Inverness] to Allan Cameron. I received only yesterday ...your letter of the 8th. When you write send your letter to Sir Will. Ellis and it will come quicker. I have the agreeable news of the King's safe arrival at Rome and return you many thanks for the good account you give me of the royal family at Bologna. I am mighty glad of the honour the Queen does Mrs. Cameron which is justly due to her. I wish you all a good journey to Rome .... I was made understand that the King was to return to Bologna except some circumstances upon which that depends occasioned its being otherwise ....
