Folios 77-78. Note from Newcastle to the King. I have the honour to send your Majesty the draft to Mr. Poyntz which I have shewed to my Lord Townshend and Mr. Walpole. I must beg your Majesty's leave to stop the post tonight, for I have not yet the Declaration about Bergh and Juliers from my Lord Townshend, nor Count Kinskies Declaration and Lord Townshend's answer, nor the minute about your Majesty's titles from Mons. Hartoft, all which I will endeavour to get tomorrow morning. I have seen Col. Armstrong this evening, who has promised me to set out on Saturday without fail. The King's answer appended: I like the draft of the letter very well, but am of opinion it may as well go Saturday and be carried by Armstrong, and only notice given to Pyntz of his going and carrying the packet by this post. What relates to the communication of the treaty with the Four Electors to the Dutch is very right.
