Folios 87-92. Depositions taken before the Justices of the Peace at Aberdeen on 15 and 18 Nov 1727 and before the Solicitor General at Edinburgh on 3 Feb 1728, concerning the death of Alexander Imrie, who was killed when a mob attacked a party of soldiers of Lord Londonderry's regiment that had been detached to help the Excise officer of Aberdeen make a seizure of uncustomed goods at Newbridge (1/2 a mile from Aberdeen) on Nov 15 1727.
