Description

Folios 59-64. John Anstis from Heralds Office to Delafaye. Enclosing a certificate of the truth of the facts recited in the warrant drawn for the usage of the name and arms of Venables by Mr.Vernon. The Certificate. Petition annexed of Anna Catherine Vernon, guardian to George, the only son and heir of Henry Vernon, of Sudbury, co. Derby, reciting his descent from Peter Venables, late baron of Kinderton, by which he has the right to quarter the arms of Venables.
