This series contains letter books from the British consulate in Palermo, Italy (formerly in Kingdom of the Two Sicilies). Comprises an account of the political and economic state of Sicily, 1810; papers concerning the Sicilian sulphur trade, 1836; an anti-Austrian manifesto, 1866, etc.; registers of births and deaths for the consular posts at Agrigento, (Girgenti), Catania, Gela (Terranova), Marsala, Mazzarra, Messina, Milazzo, Palermo, Porto Empedocle, Syracuse, Taormina and Trapani.
