Folio 54: Swann to [Arlington]. Signals his return to Hamburg. Has heard from princess Elizabeth [countess palatine, daughter of late prince elector palatine Frederick V and princess Elizabeth of England], now abbess [of Herford, Westphalia], of electoress of Brandenburg's illness of quotidian ague. Passing through Westphalia, he met two colonels of bishop of Münster's army who spoke of their fears of a Swedish attack on their country in consequence of King's action against bishop for not paying his army with money advanced by England for that purpose, action now having been turned over to Sweden.
