Folio 103. Lord Chief Justice Willes, at ?Astrop, to [Newcastle], stating that the people of Worcestershire appear to be loyal to the king, but unsure as to the best defences to be taken against the Pretender, and his French supporters. The lord lieutenant, bishop,grand jury (whose foreman is Lord Deerhurst), and the gentlemen at the assizes are due to present a loyal address to the king, as soon as he returns to the country.
