Owen Prichard, esq., mayor of Liverpool, to Newcastle, enclosing the affidavit of Richard Robinson of Liverpool, mariner and master of the brigantine Ann, dated 16 Aug. 1745, relating to the landing of Prince Charles, the Pretender's son, on the Isle of Skye; based on information gained during a voyage between Riga and Liverpool, whilst forced to harbour at Cana [? Conachair] due to adverse winds.
