Folio 51. [Newcastle] to Harrington, informing him that the Admiralty had been directed to send a convoy of yachts to Hellevoetsluis for the king's return to the country, and directions given for the preparatio of Kensington Palace. States that the news of the King's return will please his subjects in such difficult times. Encloses copies of letters received from General Chanclos, which state that Ostend will not be able to hold out much longer, but that it is appreciated there that all necessary supplies for its defence had been sent out. Stresses the Lords Justices' awareness of the royal approbation of their actions with regard to the threatened invasion of British dominions, the preservation of Ostend, the affairs of the Mediterranean and the conquest of Fort Louisburg.
