Description

Folio 224. Petition of Jacques Razor that when Col. De Planta was appointed to raise a new Swiss regiment he received an order for 600 uniforms, which he accepted on seeing Newcastle's letter of appointment. As the regiment was never formed he had to sell the uniforms elsewhere at a great loss. Asks for compensation. Enclosed: The said letter.
