Folio 287. Petition of the highland deserters, prisoners in the Tower of London, that they mutineered because of rumours that they were to be sent to the West Indies where they would have died of the heat. They had applied to Maj. Creed for a pardon before they were captured by Gen. Blakeney. Ask to be pardoned and allowed to embark for Flanders.
