Folio 41. Newcastle to Harrington complaining against the Court of Vienna's attitude to the defence of Flanders and the order given by Count Kaunitz to close the dyke once floods had started. Also fears that the acceptance of Marshall Saxe's proposal by the Governors of Dutch Flanders to mark the frontiers of her territories with posts will lead to a virtual peace between France and the Republic.
