Folio 115. Sir John Eyles, from Gidea Hall, to [Newcastle]. ... the South Sea Company's annual ship Prince William arrived at Porto Bello the 11th. of February where she was received and admitted without any molestation worthy of complaint ... advices from thence are of the 15th. March to which time no embroil had happened. The Garland, man-of-war that was sent to Cadiz on that ship's account arrived also at Jamaica about the 20th February, and the despatches Mr. Keen sent by her to our factors were forwarded by one of the company's vessels a few days after, so that now we are under no manner of apprehension for the safety and success of this voyage.
