In a P.S. he writes: We have a Lysbon mail come in just now and I am sorry to tell you, that I fear yourold friend Capt. Cowper is lost, and his ship too, for we have no manner of news of him since he sailed from Falmouth, which was the 14th. of last month for the Groyne.
