Lowe to Quarles. Cannot write as fully as wishes as departure of ships imminent. Has sent by Hugh Brinknoft a letter giving details of a bargain he has made with John Calandryne - repeats details. Has shipped the wares home under Quarles's mark. Could not find any other suitable wares to send. Cannot sell Quarles's cloths yet as other men selling cheaper than Quarles will allow him, but hopes to sell when they have run out of stock. Advises Quarles to buy fewer cloths but of really good quality. Financial matters. Exchange rate. Dated at Stade [near Hamburg].
