Lowe to Quarles. Refers to several recent letters. Repeats details of 171 cloths sold since fleet arrived. Concerning financial dealings for Jackson. Advice as to what to send in next fleet. Repeats Bartilott's need for 100 cloths for Italy. Asks Quarlesin addition to send 60-80 cloths to Emden for Booth, Bally and Wolters, though realises this may not be possible because of the accident to the Middleburg fleet. Fears Stade may only get 2 fleets next year, therefore asks Quarles to send at least 300 cloths. Not sure whether he now regrets not having bought wares for Quarles in Stade. The exchange rate now unfavourable, though thought his action right at the time. Times here very bad - only hope of profit is through heavy sales, therefore asks Quarles to keep him well supplied. Recent sales and financial transactions. Dated at Stade [near Hamburg].
