Lowe to Quarles. Reiterates financial details of two previous letters. Has sold 7 cloths since then. Has sent accounts until 25 December overland. Affairs and finances of the packhouse. Repeats advice over what cloths to supply. Some of last consignment was very poor. Heard yesterday that 2 or 3 of the Middleburg fleet had been lost in the Thames in a storm on 15 December - hopes it is not true. If it is true, trusts all cloths will be recovered. 10 January Mentions contents of letter of 6 January (sent overland). Reiterates advice about cloth to send. Bartylott has been asked by a contact in Italy to buy 100 cloths and cannot get what he wants in Stade - is deferring purchase until next fleet arrives. Lowe hopes then to sell him the whole 100 (or most of them). Financial matters. Dated at Stade [near Hamburg].
