Lowe to Quarles. Contents of letter of 26 November-3 December. Financial transactions since then. Wishes Quarles to stop putting his name to Mr. Jackson's bills. Jackson unpopular with the Company in Stade and Lowe unpopular through association with him.Advises Quarles not to deal so heavily with Laurence Overton, who is very poorly regarded in Stade. General financial news. Has sold 2 more cloths. Further details of financial dealings. Suspects interlopers' ships may be around in January. Suggests Quarles lade some cloths in them under a strange mark. [End missing]. Dated at Stade [near Hamburg].
