Extract from the acts of the parliament of Scotland [cf. Acts Parlt. Scot. vi, pt. 2, pp.201-202]. The estates of parliament ratify and approve the act of division of the presbytery of Dumbarton, and declare that it will in no way prejudice the ministersof the parishes concerned 'in their seeking for augmentation of their stipends ... in case they have not competencie after division of the said parochis'.
